Al Kader Shriners was founded in 1888, and was the first Shriners Center to be established in the Pacific Northwest.  Originally located in the City of Portland, our home is now in Wilsonville.

Shriners Hospitals
Shriners International supports Shriners Hospitals for Children®, an international health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs.


2010 Mustang GTA Raffle
The 2010 car raffle is off the ground, out of the gate, and running! We have a 1967 Mustang 390 GTA Coupe, RED with black top and black interior. The car has all original equipment and only 77,000 total miles on it. This car has been appraised at $25,000.

Annual Wild Game Dinner
The 35th Annual Wild Game Dinner is coming up fast. October 16th at the Shrine Center. A really fun night with games, prizes and lots of wild game to choose from. If you are not a wild game fan we will have non-wild-chicken for you.

This year we are also selling chances at winning a 1973 Sako Finnbear 7mm mag Rifle with a Weaver 3x9 Scope and case, in excellent condition. Chances will be sold through the Center or at the event for $10 apiece.

Come and join Chief Rabban Greg Jenkins and Lady Mavis Saturday evening, November 6, 2010 at Al Kader Shrine Center for the Chief Rabban Social.




Scan Fest and Bazaar 
A new tradition for Al Kader – Scan Fest and Bazaar on Saturday, November 13, 2010 – featuring Scandinavian dishes, including lutefisk, Swedish meatballs, lefse and more.

Retiree gives Shriners Hospital $1 million
Noble George Ruhberg, a long-time volunteer Hospital Guide at the Shriners Hospital for Children-Portland and member of Al Kader Shriners has generously donated one million dollars ($1,000,000) to the Shriners Hospital in Portland. Al Kader History 
The Ancient Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine was founded in 1872 by a group of 13 men belonging to the Masonic Order. It was originally established to provide fun and fellowship for its members.
